Egg-cellent Park Adventure

Fuquay-Varina parks

A different type of egg hunt! Large wooden eggs are hidden in 10 different Fuquay parks. Participants must locate at least 4 of the eggs and copy their pattern and/or number onto a special worksheet. Then head to the South Park Community Center or the Hilltop Needmore Town Park Community Center to claim a prize! Those who find all 10 eggs will be entered into a drawing to receive a free Fuquay-Varina swag bag.

Teen Glow Egg Hunt

Thursday, April 10, 6:30-8 p.m.
Lions Park Community Center, Raleigh

Lots of games and activities are in store for kids ages 12 to 17. Participants will enjoy snacks, prizes, and more at this drop-off event.

Eggstravaganza

Friday, April 11, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
United Church, Apex

In addition to an egg hunt, stop by for inflatables, face painting, live music, and more.

Egg hunts in three age groups (0-4, 5-9, 10 and up) plus crafts, games, and other spring activities.

Children up to 10 years old can hunt for eggs rain or shine! Other activities include story time and cookie decorating. Free, but preregistration is required.

Take photos with the Easter Bunny at the annual egg hunt, then hop along Main & Broad streets to pick up treats from local businesses.

Pack a picnic and settle in for eggciting pre-hunt crafts and games with eggs hidden around the playground. Free for children up to 12 with registration.

Easter Day Adult Egg Hunt

D’s Bottle Shop and Craft Beer College, Raleigh

$5 gets you entry into a grown-up version of an egg hunt followed by music bingo at 5 p.m. Proceeds go to Backpack Buddies.

Il Falò Easter Brunch

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The newly unveiled brunch menu at Il Falò blends Italian tradition with spring’s freshest flavors. Enjoy shareable starters like crispy ricotta fritters with house-made jam or burrata with pickled plums and toasted almonds. Seasonally inspired dishes include honey goat cheese ravioli with blood orange and ricotta gnocchi with walnut pesto. Peck & Plume Brunch Buffet

Peck & Plume is pulling out all the stops for a standout buffet. Dual carving stations will serve roast leg of lamb and smoked ham. Elevated brunch favorites include fried green tomato eggs Benedict, cinnamon biscuits, and multiple types of sausage. Pair with specialty sides like triple berry salad, honey-kissed heirloom carrots, and crispy Brussels sprouts with mustard glaze. And end on a sweet note with Easter swirl pie, chocolate cake trifle, or rice pudding with raisins. And that’s just the beginning! $79 per adult, $29 per child under 10.

The Willard Rooftop Brunch Buffet

11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dine with a view! Try brunch favorites with a Willard spin, like a build-your-own biscuit bar, vegetarian breakfast lasagna, and French toast, included with your ticket. Additional a la carte add-ons include shrimp & grits, a crab cake sandwich, country fried steak and eggs, and more. $30 for adults, $15 for children 6-12; 5 and under are free.

The Durham Family-Style Brunch

11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Bring the whole family for a shareable feast! Enjoy deviled eggs, salad, and a basket of house-made bread to start, followed by garlic-herb prime rib, ham with a bourbon and coffee glaze, asparagus and Gruyere quiche, challah French toast with malted strawberry compote, and more drool-worthy offerings. $55 per adult, $30 per child.

For Easter only, Union Special is adding seasonal Italian baked goods to its lineup. Select from Triple Chocolate and Blueberry Lemon versions of a dove-shaped sweet bread called Colomba di Pasqua or two sizes of Panettone. Get some Hot Cross Buns while you’re at it.

PoshNosh Catering

PoshNosh is ready to supply a feast in the comfort of your own home. Place an order by the end of the day Sunday, April 13, to pick up your goodies on Saturday, April 19. Choose from grilled rosé marinated leg of lamb with walnut pesto sauce or molasses and pecan roasted boneless sirloin ham (or get both!). Pair with an asparagus puff pastry tart, baked Vidalia onions, snap pea salad, or other available options. You can even order sticky buns and two types of quiche for breakfast.
