Garden Science: Exploring Bulbs & Seeds

October 1 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$20.00

How do seeds know when to wake up and start growing? And, what’s a bulb? Just a giant seed? Why do some plants live only a year while others last a hundred years?!
Experiments are a fun way to look for an answer to a question or to test an idea. You may be surprised to find that you are more than able to answer many of the questions you have by yourself or together with friends.

Join us for Garden Science this fall where together, we’ll design and complete a variety of hands-on plant experiments to learn about the scientific method and get some down and dirty answers to all our questions!

Garden Science is a series of programs for students to dive deeper into a garden topic. Each week’s program is a standalone program, but it’s more fun to come to all of them! Meet new friends and spend some time in the garden learning.
