Named after the year Carolina Brewery opened, 1995 pays homage to the past, but it’s here to stay. A crisp, bright, easy-drinking lager brewed with Helios and Saaz hops, it was built for summer gatherings, backyard cookouts, and holiday weekends, with a June release date timed to coincide with America’s 250th anniversary.
“1995 is a celebration of where we started and the community that has supported us along the way,” says founder Robert Poitras. “As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, it felt like the perfect time to create a beer that honors both our founding year and the traditions that bring people together.”
Carolina Brewery is a place where friends gather to enjoy made-from-scratch dishes and high-quality craft beer. The brewery has received numerous accolades in the press and at respected beer festivals throughout the world, including four medals at the Great American Beer Festival and more than a dozen medals at the World Beer Championships. It operates two restaurant locations in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro.
