Carpenter Park Community Garden Open House

60 artists from within North Carolina gather at the corner of Academy and Chatham streets in Downtown Cary on the second Sunday of each month — which just so happens to be Mother’s Day! In addition to artist vendors, you’ll find food trucks and musical entertainment. Bring your family and friends to help local small businesses.

Sassool will feature an enhanced wine selection as well as food specials for dine in or takeout. Opt for salmon and curry rice or lamb and rice meals, or a $7 shareable Sassool Platter. The monthly special Cecilia Wrap — pita with greens, cucumbers, green bell pepper, jalapeno, fresh mint, olives, feta cheese, and zaatar seasoning — pays homage to Sassool’s matriarch, Cecilia Saleh, who was known to make it for guests.
