Local call center seeking to fill additional 400 jobs
6/21/2012: .

Greene Resources, an employment solutions company headquartered in Raleigh, has announced an open house event to fill an additional 400 full- and part-time contract telephone interviewer positions that will start in July.

RTI International has engaged Greene Resources to fill these positions. The open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 26 at the Hilton North Raleigh, located at 3415 Wake Forest Road.

These new positions are in addition to the 400 call-center positions that Greene Resources helped fill for RTI in May of this year.

The positions will involve conducting telephone interviews to obtain critical research data from survey participants. While a majority of the positions offer evening and weekend schedules, day shift schedules also are available. Positions pay $10 per hour.

Job qualifications include:

* High school diploma or GED required, post-secondary education preferred
* Proven work history in customer service or call-center environment
* Effective telephone interviewing etiquette, inflection and communication skills
* Ability to perform data-entry tasks while speaking on the phone
* Ability to type at least 25 words per minute, with 95 percent accuracy

Prospective applicants are asked to bring a resume and be prepared to read from a telephone script. If hired, they will receive training and placement at the call center located in North Raleigh.

"This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in call-center work that has the potential to impact the human condition around the world," says Gary Greene, president of Greene Resources. "There is no selling involved, and schedules are very flexible."
